Biannual meeting of Bologna Follow Up Group - the group charged with overseeing the implementation of reforms agreed by European Ministers of Higher Education. Expected participants include Government representatives and representatives of higher education stakeholders including students, staff, institutions, business and the European Commission.
The main topics for consideration will be the finalisation of the 2012-2015 work plan, first reports from the working groups and agreement on terms of reference, and the proposed peer learning and peer review initiative. A thematic session on the European Institute of Innovation and Technology will also be held on the morning of the 15 March.
The meeting is preceeded by The 7th EQAR General Assembly on the 13 March from 14:00 – 18:00. EQAR was founded by the E4 - ENQA, ESU, EUA and EURASHE, the European representative bodies of quality assurance agencies, students, universities and other higher education institutions, respectively, to increase the transparency of quality assurance in higher education across Europe.
