The Minister will end her programme with a meeting with National Security Staff responsible for Ireland and Europe at the White House.

Minister Creighton - This visit is an opportunity to give key audiences more detail on the work the Presidency has completed and to make move forward our remaining goals as we enter the final weeks.

Speaking ahead of the visit, Minister Creighton said:

“There is a clear recognition in the United States of the progress of the Irish EU Presidency, particularly on the trade and investment partnership. This visit is an opportunity to give key audiences more detail on the work the Presidency has completed and to make move forward our remaining goals as we enter the final weeks.
